Hello,
I would need the possible procedure for upgrading our vCenter server 5.5 which is residing on Windows to VCSA 6.0. I have few details which are mentioned below :-
-- Deploy a new VCSA 6.0, Create a cluster details and then export all the network configuration from windows vCenter 5.5 (as its vDS) and import it to vCSA appliance and then add the ESXi hosts one by one.
-- The other method I can think of is to upgrade my existing vCenter 5.5 which is on windows and then will migrate some of the hosts on the vCSA and then perform vMotion of the VMs.. As vMotion is allowed accross the vCenter and across the network switches.
The whole idea is to not have my production down in any case.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
