I bought a MacBook Air back in 2011, with the latest version of Fusion. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate, and have never had any problems with any of it. Lately, some newer apps won't run on the OS, so I'm considering upgrading to either Yosemite or El Capitan. I'm concerned about making my system unstable, and some of the things I'm reading on the blogs about El Capitan and Version 8.0 don't increase my confidence.
I have OS X 10.6.8 and Fusion 3.1.3. The MacBook Air has the 2.13 GhZ Intel Core Duo processor and 4 GB of RAM. Can anyone give me some advice regarding the stability of various version upgrades for both the OS and Fusion? Also, are there any problems associated with upgrading the Fusion version with Windows 7? TIA
