Hi,
I'm not Mikero, but KB stands for "Knowledge Base" article.
VMware has a huge collection of them at http://kb.vmware.com and they are generally used as a recipe for helping users.
So instead of having to type out the same answer time and time again you just point the user to the KB.
For example: VMware KB: Installing Windows 10 as a guest operating system in VMware Fusion which is article 2128765 at kb.vmware . com/kb/2128765 (spaces inserted intentionally)
edit: Cool that article already has the notes on how-to edit the .vmx file for when you have USB install media.
