In order to realize the situation in the screenshots, please open them in another window or tab (i.e., not only in the preview)...

... So, it seems to be a Windows, and not VMware (Tools) problem...? Confirmed?
(Strange that it also happens in 8.1 - at least in Fusion 8, - and not only in 10...)
