Calling AWS Rest API in VRO

Hi,

I have seen the vRO REST samples and workflows in the vRO appliance, but has anyone been able to call the AWS REST API from vRO? I am getting stuck in figuring out the right steps to take, e.g. add a host, add an operation, etc.
