Re: VDImark benchmark score is the number of concurrent users (that is, the number of View Planner desktop virtual machines) participating in a compliant run.

Hi Mike,

The reporting problem might be caused by the two error VMs as you mentioned or there was problem at the desktop VMs that made them not uploading the results.

I would recommend you to retry the run and ensure no error found in the viewplanner.log. If it does not work, try to test with smaller # of VMs. Otherwise, reinstall the view planner agent at the desktop VMs and ensure that the installation is error free by checking the file C:\viewplanner-agent-installer.log.

View Planner (VP) can be used for two purposes: as a benchmark or as a configurable tool. VDImark benchmark score only makes sense in the case of benchmark and all compliant rules have to be met. In case of using VP as a configurable tool ( or flexible mode) or the run is not full compliant, the report results is useful to understand how View Planner's workload performs on your setup and the score should not be mentioned as VDImark. More information is at this link https://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/downloads/vmw-view-planner-rules-policy-en.pdf

Thanks.
