You cannot do this with a NTFS file system. As you already mentioned, NTFS isn't a clustered file system. Btw. a clustered file system has nothing in common with Microsoft Clustering (MSCS).  MSCS is shared-nothing clustering, where only one node at a time has access to a volume.

I don't know your exact requirements, but I think you should be ok with adding the volume (vmdk) to one of the VM's and simply share the drive/folder in order to make it accessible to other VMs.
