Guys,
I currently have the Standard Switch which is vSwitch 0. All my VM's are going connecting to vmnic3. I have three additional nics on here that are in Stand By. I have created another vSwitch (vSwitch1), got the Vlan ID that I need. I also have this VLAN ID on the connecting physical switch. The four vmnics are on a team on the guest OS. I want vSwitch1 to connect to another nic, so I can add VLAN 311 to it. Then add the correct VM. When I select one of the NICs to move over to vSwitch1 I get a pop up saying "Once or more of the selected adapters are attached to other vSphere standard switches. Are you sure you want to remove them from these vSphere standard switches and add them to this one?" If I say yes, I should be fine correct? I should not have any issue?
