Hi Wil,
Thanks for the reply. Let me be more specific.
I run Fusion from OSX then start Windows 7. After booting Windows, I open "Computer" in Windows
Explorer. Windows Explorer says there are (now) "12 KB free of 39.9 GB". This is the free
space and allocated space in the Windows partition set aside for Fusion. (Sorry, I don't know
how to capture a screen shot and post from a Mac.)
Regardless, it is Windows that is out of space. I've deleted a lot of files, at least many GB worth,
and removed them from the trash bin. I've then done Windows Disk Cleanup. Disk Cleanup
said it could recover 7 GB, but the message from Windows Explorer doesn't improve.
Since I think there isn't 40 GB of actual usage on the partition, I assume Fusion is holding onto
the space. I searched the web and found references saying Fusion doesn't automatically free
Windows space. I can follow those directions and use the Fusion Cleanup, but that also does not
improve disk space usage for Windows.
Thanks for the advice!
