Hi all,
I installed the Workstation about 3 months ago to run a single Win7 x64 guest on it. It was used several times a week. But since yesterday, the following is happening:
1. Starting the workstation only creates the process, which never opens the UI nor throw any error.
2. Killing all the VMware processes and manually restarting the authorization service doesn't seem to help.
3. When trying to start the uninstaller (to repair or reinstall the workstation), the splash screen appears, shows *Now loading:* and never fills the progress bar but remains responsive (No freeze / crash / error message).
I'm absolutely stumped as to what the heck is going on. I've looked at the log files but can't figure out what the problem is. I'd be grateful if someone could have a look at them and/or suggest which next step I should take.
I've only appended one log file, since every instance of the uninstaller results in virtually the same log output.
