I am getting an e-mail every minute stating one of my host lost Network Connectivity on virtual switch vSwitch2 Physical NIC vmnic2 is down. Affected portgroup vmk1: This happens after a power failure but the nic is up and the Host shows it up and active, also the Switch is showing it up. The only way to stop the messages is to unplug the affected NIC and wait a minute then plug it back in. Has anyone come across this? How come the e-mail is sent every minute when the NIC is fine? Any suggestions on correcting this and also stopping it as I am not in the office today to physically reseat the cable..
