It is not, nor has ever been, included with the Player installer package. You must extract the file {vmnetcfg.exe} from the Workstation (Pro) installer package.

Unless something has changed in recent years, it is not possible with the hosted products (as VMware uses certain OS resources which have limits). You will need to use ESXi / vSphere.
